Most of our work is home gyms. A treadmill in a spare bedroom, an exercise bike in a flat, a garage full of dumbbells, or a compact multi-gym that has not been used since it was built. Gymstock dismantles and collects that equipment from houses and flats across London and the South.
House-clearance firms often leave gym kit behind because it is heavy and bolted down. We are set up for that part of the job. You book a date, tell us the floor and the items, and a two-man team handles dismantling and removal.

Typical home collections
Single-item jobs are the simplest: one treadmill, one bike, one rower or one cross trainer. These can be booked online if you are in our collection area.
Small home gyms are usually two or three pieces: a cardio machine plus a bench and weights. Choose the item band that matches what is coming out. A single bike is not priced the same as a rack, bench and dumbbells.
Full house gyms — a power rack, Olympic bar, several benches, a treadmill and a stack of plates — are quoted. Email photos and the postcode rather than forcing the job onto the smallest online price.
Where home gyms usually sit
Spare rooms and box rooms are common in London flats and terraces. The carry is often the hard part: a turn on the landing, a narrow stair, no lift.
Garages and outbuildings are common in Essex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire and the counties further out. Ground-floor access is easier, but tell us about steps up from the drive, gravel, or a machine against the back wall.
Basements and first-floor rooms need the higher access option. If you are not sure, choose first floor or above and describe the route in the notes.
What to do before we arrive
Unplug the machine and clear a path to the door. You do not need to dismantle it yourself. Take off loose plates if you can, but leave racks and cardio machines assembled unless they are already in pieces.
Have the house name or number and postcode ready. Add parking notes if the road is permit-only, the drive is tight, or we need a code for a gate.
How home booking works
Pick a date on the booking page. Select ground floor or first floor and above. Select the item band. Add your address, postcode and what needs collecting. Pay to reserve the date.
The collection time slot is confirmed 24–48 hours before. We do not offer a fixed hour at checkout.
Online booking is available in Greater London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Your address is checked at checkout.
Pricing a home gym collection
The online price includes the two-man team, dismantling where needed, and removal from the property. Stairs and extra items increase the price. That is why those choices are on the booking form.
If the list is longer than the online bands, or the gym fills a whole garage, ask for a quote.
